Occupy The Hood
As OccupyRVA faded, Occupy the Hood arose. The nationwide response to racism, or negligence of racism as a fundamental problem in US society, endemic in many Occupation sites seems to be People of Color-driven Occupations that are centered in and address the issues of poeple of color in the US.
In Richmond we now have Occupy The Hood. All day on Saturday, Jan. 7th at the Oak Grove Playground, 2200 Gordan Ave. Richmond,VA, OTH will present activities and presentations the bring to the Occupation  arena a few missing elements, a few missing articulations.
9:00 am - General Assembly, during which at 11:30 am, the Defenders attend and present the upcoming Virginia People's Assembly for possible endorsement and attendance.

Occupy Richmond
Occupy Richmond is a movement in solidarity with Occupy Wall Street
and with all other occupations across the United States and around the world. Mark your calendars for January 8th’s General Assembly, where all of the work put into three weeks worth of meetings will be unveiled and voted on. This is an extremely important event, so we urge you all to make it a point to attend.
